About OurGayborhood Instant MessengerOurGayborhood Instant Messenger (OGIM) allows you to maintain contact and ignore lists, to check online status of the users in your contact list and to communicate with other users of OurGayborhood.com in a private or public chat. All users of OGIM are subject to OurGayborhood.com Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Contact & Ignore ListsContact list is organized into groups. To edit contact list, use main menu, toolbar buttons and popup menu of the main window. When you add user to contact list this user is automatically removed from your ignore list and vice versa when you add user to ignore list this user is automatically removed from all groups in your contact list. To ignore user, use popup menu of the main window or public chat window. To unignore user, doubleclick his username in your ignore list (to open ignore list, use main menu or toolbar button of the main window or public chat window). To ignore/unignore user in the private chat, use main menu or toolbar button of the private chat window. The users in your ignore list can't send private messages to you. Public & Private ChatTo enter public chat, use main menu or toolbar button of the main window. To start private chat with another user, click his username in your contact list or in the public chat window. Use Enter key or Send button to send messages. To insert a smiley, click the right button of the mouse over the message edit field. To change room in the public chat, doubleclick the room title in the room list. Audio & Video ChatAudio and video chat features are only available on our web-based chat software. The desktop chat software, OurGayborhood Instant Messenger, does not currently support these features. To access Audio/Video Chat, logon to your OurGayborhood.com account, choose Connect from the main menu, and then A/V Chat from the Connect sub-menu.
